At Evermore Coffee Roasters, we’ve always believed that coffee should feel like an experience — something memorable, approachable, and worth slowing down for. That philosophy has shaped everything we do since opening in Burlington City, New Jersey in 2016, from our adventurous coffee sourcing to the way we build community around the café.
Today, we’re excited to announce a new partnership that brings together specialty coffee craftsmanship and brewing innovation: Evermore Coffee Roasters is now an official Roaster Partner with Meraki!
What Is Meraki?
Meraki is redefining the home espresso experience through intelligent brewing technology designed to make exceptional coffee more accessible and consistent. Their espresso machines use integrated NFC-enabled coffee recognition, allowing compatible coffees to instantly communicate brewing recipes directly to the machine.
In simple terms: the machine automatically knows how to brew the coffee.
By scanning a Meraki Edition coffee bag, the espresso machine can automatically adjust parameters like brew temperature, ratio, and extraction settings to match the coffee’s intended profile — helping users get the best possible results without endless dialing in.
For specialty coffee, this is a genuinely exciting development. Great coffee deserves great preparation, and Meraki is creating tools that bridge the gap between professional café-level precision and the home brewing experience.

At Evermore, we’ve always been drawn to innovation within coffee — especially when it enhances the experience without removing the human element that makes specialty coffee meaningful.We roast a wide range of coffees, from approachable everyday blends to highly expressive experimental lots and co-fermented coffees. Some of these coffees can be incredibly nuanced, with delicate flavor characteristics that benefit from precise brewing parameters.
Through this partnership, select Evermore coffees will now be available as Meraki Editions featuring integrated NFC technology. These coffees are roasted exactly the same as their standard counterparts, but include smart brewing functionality that allows compatible Meraki machines to automatically calibrate for optimal extraction.
The result is a more seamless and approachable experience for both experienced espresso enthusiasts and people newer to specialty coffee.
