Teady for the adventurous coffee drinker, Ethiopia Guji Dur Feres is a naturally processed selection, making it ultra fruity and floral. This one starts off with sweet mixed berry notes and pronounced floral cherry blossom developing brighter characteristics of mango as it cools. Sweet and acidic, this is a wonderful slow summer morning sip, but we especially love brewing it on-the-go with our aeropress.
Dur Feres comes to us from Catalyst Coffee, an importer with a great deal of traceability behind them. They invest quite a bit into their work, helping their partners cultivate top-quality and award-winning coffee. In particular, Dur Feres comes from the families and communities where they source their highest-quality microlots. They assist in maintaining a steady flavor profile, curated by using coffees from various regions of Ethiopia as they come ripe. This allows Catalyst to keep a fresh crop supply always rotating while maintaining the same flavor profile every season.
