Nestled within the exquisite landscapes of the Sidama region, this exceptional brew embodies the passion and dedication of the Dukamo brothers, Asefa and Mulugeta, who established Daye Bensa Coffee in 2006.
The journey of this fine coffee experience begins at the Durato Bombe village, where 626 farmers meticulously cultivate the coffee cherries beneath the Bombe mountain. Each bean carries the essence of this lush terrain, delivering a flavor journey of the natural terrior. From there, the beans end up at the Kontama mill, where the coffee cherries are sun-dried for 10-15 days. This drying process preserves the natural essence of the bean, intensifying the vibrant, fruit-forward flavor profile.
Close your eyes, take a sip, and be transported to sun-drenched orchards, where the essence of ripe strawberries intertwines with the refreshing zest of lemon. With 16 washing stations and 4 dry mills operating within Sidama, Daye Bensa Coffee ensures that every step of the process is handled with utmost care and precision and we know you'll love this one.
